A community benefit concert in support of Valley Connect Outreach featuring Canta Mara Youth Choirs & Nova Scotian Singer-Songwriter Terra Spencer.

Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music and community as the Canta Mara Youth Choirs collaborate with acclaimed Nova Scotia songwriter Terra Spencer on Sunday, October 19th, 4:00pm at Horton High School. This special concert brings voices together in a spirit of compassion, love and kindness with proceeds supporting CMYC & Valley Connect Outreach.

Rooted in a belief that every voice matters, the Canta Mara Youth Choirs are dedicated to nurturing artistry, empathy, and belonging through the power of song. They aim to share music that uplifts and creates connection both within the choir and with the wider community. Guided by these values, the singers will lift their voices alongside Terra Spencer’s heartfelt storytelling, weaving songs that carry warmth, solidarity, and hope.

Harvesters of Light - Songs for Comfort takes place Sunday, October 19, at 4pm at Horton High School. Tickets are $20 each, and we welcome non-perishable food and monetary donations.
